I first met Venue when our paths crossed at an organization whose mission is to elevate the voice and power of women of color. While our time there was brief, our friendship will live forevermore.
During the pandemic, Venu founded Solidarity Futures. She shares, “We work with individuals and organizations to build the connective tissue between resource generation, alignment of internal and external values, and organizational community building to bolster the execution of organizational missions.”
Venu’s big brain thinking is matched equally with her big heart compassion. She shows huge care for those near and far, her neighborhood and city and the great big world beyond. What I know for sure is that no matter the problem to be solved, I want Venu beside me. With great excitement for the possibilities, she’s a partner we should all have.
